Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a deep relaxation technique which enables you to access your subconscious mind more easily. Why would someone want to undergo hypnosis?

In the more deeply relaxed state that hypnosis allows, you’re able to temporarily suspend your typical level of focus (i.e. the conscious mind) and allow your subconscious to receive messages that can better support your goals for greater health, well-being, and life satisfaction.

While hypnotherapy is by no means a “quick fix,” hypnosis can often be very useful in helping clients with the following challenges:

  • weight loss
  • smoking cessation
  • coping with chronic pain
  • managing panic attacks
  • fears and phobias
  • stress management
  • preparation for surgery
  • labor and delivery
  • sleep problems
  • healing trauma
  • releasing grief
  • easing anxiety
  • improved confidence/self-esteem
  • regression therapy
  • past life therapy

Hypnotherapy enables you to understand your inner myths and the attitudes that consciously influence your life, your relationships, your health, and all aspects of your human experience. It’s a tool that allows us to access your higher self and enhance personal growth, inner healing, and multifaceted well-being.

Past-life therapy and hypnotherapy: how are they intertwined?

Life can leave imprints on our soul from positive and negative experiences — both from this lifetime and from our past lives. Memories from our present and our past lifetimes lodge in the subconscious mind and can adversely influence our present life whether we’re cognizant of their origins or not. Hypnotherapy can help us address and release unhealthy habitual behaviors, phobias and limiting beliefs about ourselves that we have picked up along the way.

Misconceptions about hypnosis and hypnotherapy

To assuage any concerns you yourself may have, it may be helpful for you to know that:

  • you do not say or do anything contrary to your character or desires,
  • your conscious mind is always aware of what you are experiencing,
  • you remain in full control of the process and yourself,
  • you remember everything that occurs during the session, and
  • you can come out of hypnosis at any time and at will.

Anyone who can focus their mind and relax can access the level of awareness that hypnotherapy requires.
