Life coaching is about empowering yourself to design a more satisfying present and future.
In my life coaching sessions with clients, we focus on what’s right with you, not what’s wrong. Your strengths, not your limitations. We focus on the future and forward momentum, as compared to therapy, which is largely about resolving and healing the past.
As a therapist-trained life coach, I help you discover, embrace, and celebrate who you are at your best, and equip you with tools and resources to create the life you want now and in the future. As life coach and client, we have an ongoing, professional, mentorship-like relationship focused on the realization and creation of your visions, goals, life purpose, and desires.
Discover your Signature Strengths through life coaching — and use them to your advantage.
If you’re interested, we’ll use an empirical assessment tool called the VIA Inventory that highlights the building blocks you naturally use to construct your best life. The VIA Inventory is based in the Science of Positive Psychology, which is the study of what enables people to thrive.
With life coaching, the end goal is the expansion of your capacity to change your own life: in essence, to become and be your own “change master.” You, the client, are in charge of your own process. As your life coach, I hold the belief that you want what you say you want.
As a life coaching client, you will learn to:
- not be incapacitated by painful situations,
- maximize pleasurable experiences,
- experiment with life fully, and
- get a large measure of life out of each moment.
In my life coaching practice, I have chosen the following areas to emphasize:
- Personal spirituality, mindfulness, wholeness, serenity
- Deep, personal congruence
- Capacity to love and be loved
And I have three areas of specialty:
- Authentic Love and Authentic Intimacy
- Emotional Integrity/ Authenticity
- Sustainable Happiness
